About Bwin

bwin is one of Europe’s oldest and most popular bookmakers and after acquiring the Ongame network in 2005 also became Europe’s largest poker network.

bwin Poker has long been known for great software and design, and a recent software upgrade has added even more features. Improvements include direct seating from the lobby, resizable tables and a downloadable Mac client, putting bwin up near the or near the top of the industry as far as software and design goes.

bwin Poker also offers great statistical analysis of your game and an open database of hands played. Also on the table now with the growth of the bwin network are way more promotions, high-value guaranteed tournaments, more satellites to live tournaments and a great player base.

Games offered are Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud, Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo and Five-Card Draw.

Poker players seem to have noticed the recent improvements as bwin Poker now counts itself as one of the top traffic generators in the industry.

Bonus Clearing

Bonuses at bwin are cleared at 8 poker points for each bonus dollar. Example: You need 240 poker points for a bonus worth $30. Clearing time for the full bonus is 60 days. Once you've collected the poker points, your bonus is automatically credited to your account.

Loyalty Program/Promotions

bwin Poker's loyalty program is called b'inside and splits player points into Market and Status points. Status Points are credited to your account whenever you play for real-money stakes and determine your status at b'inside. More points equal more status, which equals more advantages. Status Points are valid for three months.

Market Points are credited to your account whenever you play for real-money stakes and can also be collected through promotions. Market Points are valid for 12 months and can be exchanged at "the Market" for gadgets, merch, etc.

Status points are earned at a rate of 100 points per USD $1 in both cash games and tournaments. Market points are earned depending on Status - 100 points per $1 at "Green" status up to 300 points per $1 at "Yellow" status.

bwin Poker offers a massive amount of tournaments throughout the day - most of which are busy and fast.

The weekly $25,000 and $1000,000 tournaments draw a huge number of players, as do the many qualifiers to big live and online poker events like the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour. The biggest tournament available is the weekly $200k guaranteed ChampionChip, which attracts huge fields.

bwin Poker also runs a variety of freeroll tournaments with some very lucrative rewards. It's possible to qualify for the $200k ChampionChip via freerolls and even nab a seat at the $10,000 buy-in Aussie Millions main event.

  • bwin Poker offers sleek, simple and easy-to-use software. A new client has also added a bunch of great new features including resizable tables, a real-time tournament lobby and sit-and-go queues.

bwin Poker supports play at over 15 tables simultaneously and the multi-table experience is very good. bwin Poker has also introduced a new downloadable Mac client with no reduction of features from the Windows version. An added bonus is a mobile poker client.

The bwin Poker software offers very clean and crisp graphics - something that has become a trademark of any Ongame software. The four-color decks are also very nicely designed and the felt is a sleek black.

Unique features include all-in stats during a hand, action hot keys and real-money mobile poker. Perhaps the best feature is the unique Session Browser, which lets you see everything about the session you just played.

Games are very soft at the lowest levels of Limit and No-limit Hold'em, while the high-stakes games definitely provide stiffer competition.

The Ongame network is somewhat of a favorite for the really talented European high stakes pros, making the highest stakes games very hard to beat. Still, you can at times find $5/$10 No-Limit Hold’em tables with a viewed-flop percentage of 35-40%. Overall, many Hold'em games have a viewed-flop percentage in the 40-50% range.
